La Selva Biological Station is situated at the confluence of two major rivers in the Caribbean lowland of northern Costa Rica. The wonderful trails and habitats of La Selva host more then 350 different species of birds. During your visit, you will have an excellent opportunity to see: Semiplumbeous Hawk, Sunbitten, Coatis, Collared Peccary, monkeys, sloths, etc.
