Yehudi Hernandez Hernandez

Yehudi Hernandez. He is a true nature lover. His huge love for wildlife encouraged him to learn about the birds of his own area. Today he is fluid in English and has a vast knowledge of the wildlife of Costa Rica. He has been serving as a naturalist guide for seven years and has participated in several private programs with institutions such as OTS and Fundacion Neotropica. He has been in ecology and botany classes with Pepper dine and George Mason Universities. For those two schools, today he serves as one of the instructors for their ecology classes in the tropics. Yehudi has also worked as an environmental educator for local schools in his hometown, using himself as an example, to encourage kids to become passionate for wildlife. Some of his field work experiences include working on research projects of bird migrations and bird nesting. He has also participated in studies of rain forest trees for more than three years. He uses his knowledge to teach and develop short term projects for some of the high school kids. Yehudi will love to share his country, culture and knowledge with any visitor.

Adolfo Downs Valle

Adolfo Downs Valle Better known as “Fito”, he started at a very young age working with bird watchers and natural history groups in Costa Rica. In 1999, his passion for birds took him to Panama to work for the Smithsonian Institute on Barro Colorado Island. Today, Fito has traveled extensively in South America, leading groups in Bolivia, Ecuador and Central Brazil. His unique enthusiasm motivates groups to learn more about Neotropical birds.

Jimmy Trejos Camacho

A Costa Rican who loves nature. Jimmy formally studied tour guiding at the Colegio Universitario de Alajuela. Since 1998 he has worked as a tour guide and at the same time has advanced his professional experiences with the adventure of filming as camera assistant for BBC of London. With his knowledge and experience you will always enjoy discovering and learning about the wonders of this country he loves!
